Finally, it arrived! Shiny, gold, just like in the pictures. 39 mm, that’s the size. Not too big, not too small. The dial, it’s this ivory color, kinda like old piano keys. And the strap, brown alligator. Sounds a bit wild, but it’s actually quite nice.

Took it out, showed it off to a few buddies. They were impressed, I could tell. Even the ones who know about watches. Said it looked pretty close to the real deal. I felt like a million bucks, even though it didn’t cost that much, thank goodness.

Now, I’m no watch expert, but I took a real close look at this thing. Seems well-made. It’s self-winding, so no need to wind it up like those old-timey watches. And it’s got this shock absorber thing, so I guess it can take a bit of a beating, though I’m not planning on testing that out.
