It’s got that classic Calatrava look, and the dial, while not perfect, is definitely the highlight. I even put it in a cheap watch box I found, just for that extra touch of presentation.
Would I do it again? Maybe. It was a fun project, but it was also a lot of work. I learned a lot about watchmaking, or at least the basics of it. And I have a new appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into those fancy watches. It’s not just about slapping some parts together, there’s a real art to it.
